Grandma sketched herself and her husband around their 25th anniversary, perhaps ahead of paintings (though as far as I know, these stayed as drawings). I feel she really captured Grandpa’s gentle patient gaze though I must say for her picture, my mom used to employ the very same look when my brother and I misbehaved in church.

Today the 15th of June would’ve been my grandparents’ 70th anniversary.
